Today, we had another productive outreach at the Kwara State School for Special Needs, Apata Yakuba, Ilorin, Kwara state.

 

As an organization that is passionate about the well-being of all and sundry.  We believe every child is special and we cherish and value everyone irrespective of their condition. We have it as our goal to include everyone in our activities and we hope to leave no one behind.

 

However, some of our volunteers who spoke with the students gave motivational and inspirational talks to the students with disabilities. The theme 'Their Ability in Disability' was discussed and the students were made to realize that people with disabilities often demonstrate incredible resilience, tenacity, and abilities.

 

Without any doubt, many individuals with disabilities have contributed their unique perspectives and talents to the growth and development of our society.

 

Also, the students are encouraged to take skills acquisition as a priority and never to feel inferior or oppressed by anyone.

 

In addition, we also donated some food items to the school in support of the students feeding. We know there is a lot to cover and we believe it all requires a gradual process for all to be achieved.

 

 

We won't relent in making an impact and putting smiles on people's faces. It's crucial, especially with the current situation, of the country. As an organization, it has always been our goal to carry out such a program and we wish to do more in the coming days.

 

 

We use this medium to encourage the members of the general public to recognize and support these student's abilities rather than focusing solely on their limitations. No one should be neglected, victimized, or discriminated against. We should love, care, and accommodate one another.
